Midwest Storm May Affect Deliveries

Due to the storm affecting the midwest please be advised that there may be potential service delays and potential delivery delays from UPS and FedEx.

Below are a notices we received from UPS and FedEx.


UPS -Winter Storm Impacting the Midwest

UPS is closely monitoring the impact of the winter storm that is bringing heavy snow and dangerously cold temperatures to the Midwest, causing service delays in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio. We have contingency plans in place to ensure the safety of our employees and to minimize the storm’s impacts on pickups and deliveries.

ups.com for the latest information on service delays (including a list of ZIP codes where no pickups or deliveries are being made today) and to track the status of your packages. Fed-Ex Service Alert – Winter Weather

Our top priority is the safety and well-being of our team members, as well as maintaining the highest level of service to our customers. FedEx will comply with all local/state government travel safety requirements during this weather event. If authorities allow for open travel, FedEx is attempting pickup and deliveries in areas that can be safely accessed.

Pickup and delivery delays may occur in areas where authorities have implemented travel restrictions: Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

You can also contact FedEx Customer Service at 1.800.GoFedEx (1.800.463.3339) or stay up to date by subscribing to FedEx Service Alert email notifications at the FedEx Email Subscription Center. Consistent with the provisions in the FedEx Service Guide, shipments delayed due to winter weather are not eligible for a refund or credit under the money-back guarantee policy.
